Mikai Allan is a psychologist specialising in performance and general psychology. Mikai completed his Master of Psychology (Sport and Exercise) at the University of Queensland.
Mikai currently works with Equine Pathways and Flag Football Australia, supporting athletes and organisations to build the mental skills that drive performance. He has previous experience working within the University of Queensland Counselling Services and White Cloud Mental Health Telehealth, supporting individuals across a range of psychological presentations. He draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to deliver tailored, effective support for each individual he works with.
Outside of work, Mikai is passionate about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is a proud Arsenal supporter. He brings a warm and empathetic approach to all of his work, creating a space where clients feel supported to perform and grow.
Mikai works with both the general population and performance and sport clients, offering tailored psychological support across mental health and performance. Mikai also works with sports teams and organisations delivering group programs and workshops. Services include building a winning culture, mental health and wellbeing education, coach and leadership development, and mental skills development.
